La Bou Bakery & Cafe in Auburn

This La Bou location was our go-to location while we lived in Folsom temporarily. I have to say that compared to a couple of other locations we have visited since moving that this one has been the best in terms of the quality of the food, the service and the selection - with their having some menu items that other locations do not offer. We enjoy their breakfast bagels, omelettes and the Vietnamese sandwich. I ordinarily lost the struggle to leave without buying a baked item. Strange that other people have found the customer experience lacking because my experience has always been a good one.

Their croissants are flaky and buttery, and always worth it. Their Thai chicken soup with rice is amazing!

The dill sauce is amazing. So is the bread. They bake their bread fresh every morning.

Great place to get a good cup of coffee and relax pull up the internet and just work or catch up on the news. Wonderful people

Best tomatoe bisque soup, chicken salad, sandwich, and fresh bread baguettes are to die for, food is always so fresh and great to the taste.

I got my order wrong twice on each order on the same day.

Everything is served fresh and quick! The employees are super sweet. The environment here is wonderful. It's aesthetically pleasing. The food is wonderful. The Loudspeakers (Greek donuts) are popular here. It's a good place to hang out. Go check it out! I got a plate and made my own. I filled it with veggies, spicy whipped feta, florins pepper paprika, yogurt sauce, and Greco fries.

First time here, I got baguettes and dill sauce. And omg it's so good. The bread is so fresh I can't wait to get more. Also the customer service was the best I've ever had. They're so helpful and pleasant it made my visit perfect! I wish every place had great customer service like this!!

SO DELICIOUS. Awesome food, so many options, and such good hot sauce. Wonderful people working there too, especially Zoi!! Always smiling and dancing and lighting up the place! Try the vegetarian option, you won't be disappointed.

Its the best La Bou in the area and the girls that work here are the sweetest! I recommend the almond croissants and their vietnamese chicken salad!

La Bou is one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots. The food is always fresh and served in hearty portions. I love the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 chinese chicken salad combo. Try it you'll like it.

Doing DoorDash ana this place is a hit .....been here 4 times today and only 1 o'clock.....nice suroundings...

The employees were really kind and friendly, and the food was good! They wrapped up my basil chicken panini really nicely. It would be nice if they upgraded the menu a bit, since it has bits of paper taped on where they've made changes, but other than that small detail, they were flawless.

I came there hungry and left it hungry. Nothing to choose. And their salad with noodles, shrimps and peanuts is terrible :-[ I will never go to this place again.

Really good pastries! The almond crescent is my favorite but they are all good. They also have good coffee.

There is no better deal than their baguettes: sliced, soft, warm. Plus their amazing dill sauce with the thin consistency that I prefer for dipping. Baguettes are less than three bucks here with a seventy five cent charge for a large dipping portion of the dill sauce. I come here consistently with friends, family, and my boyfriend to enjoy this treat.

Food is awesome, service is terrible and rude. They didn't have bow tie pasta on the menu, but I saw it being served so I asked for it, but they werw so rude and stone face when I asked for some, setting is clean and plenty of room, they close at 4:30pm.

Good food, new items on the menu some the last time I was at a la bou. Quick service friendly people. New Panini's and boba drinks on the menu.

The salad that i had was the "Very Shrimpy Caesar Salad" and it didn't really meet my expectations for the first time there, the shrimp was frozen and not cooked fresh and had very little of the shrimp, and the salad was a solid 3 star over all.

I came in at 10:30 am. There was no line and only two other customers in there. The girl who helped me was extremely rude and did not even look up at me once. I just got a 1/2 salad 1/2 turkey sandwich. There were only two pieces of Turkey in my sandwhich! Even Subway makes better sandwhiches!
